We are looking for an experienced chef with a passion for Nordic and coastal cuisine to join our team for the summer season. You will take the lead in preparing high-quality dishes that highlight local ingredients from the island and surrounding seas. Creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence are essential, as we cater to guests seeking an elevated dining experience in a unique setting.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and execute menus inspired by Nordic/coastal cuisine
- Source and use local ingredients whenever possible
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Collaborate with the lighthouse team to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Explore new dishes and seasonal specials while respecting our culinary identity
- Keep the kitchen well organised, tidy and clean at all times
- Proven experience in high-end or fine dining kitchens
- Strong expertise in Nordic/coastal cuisine
- Professional culinary training is required
- Exceptional experience and references matter
- Creativity, initiative, and strong organizational skills
