Bar Supervisor

Duties

• Manage and ensure the smooth running of the Bars by handling day-to-day operations
• Develop and update cocktails and Beverage menus with other members of the F&B Team
• Give our Guests a memorable experience by ensuring guests queries and complaints are responded to in a timely and friendly manner to ensure guest satisfaction at all times and develop loyalty
• Inspire and motivate by being a role model to the team and ensure the team perform duties to a high standard
• Ensure all cash, charges, floats and tills procedures are carried out 
• Have a complete knowledge of the Beverage and Cocktail List and any special Promotions, being able to answer questions and queries promptly and knowledgeably in line with the standards of the Club; 
• Execute all beverage orders to the brand standards in a timely manner.
• Take orders in a professional manner, in correct sequence and using up-selling skills discreetly and according to the club standards; 
• Have a good knowledge of beverages and beverage service;
• Provide and maintain the highest standard of guest care and service;
• Ensuring bar up keeping to the requested standard in line with the procedures set by the Club;
• Handle any customer complaints or problems promptly and ensure that all resolved/unresolved incidents are reported to the Outlet Manager. 
• Pass on recent updates and other information to the team.
• Supervise the team in the various bars across the Club.

• Ensure that all reporting team members maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times; 
• Assist the Outlet Management in maintaining and updating the service standards;  
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of fire prevention and to ensure that staff follows the Club evacuation procedures on hearing the alarm; 
• Be security conscious with respect to guest, staff and Club property/welfare and to report suspicious circumstances to the Outlet Manager;
• Ensure the departmental area is maintained in a safe, hygienic and presentable state and to report any damage to furniture, fittings and equipment to your Outlet Manager;   
• Act on your responsibilities for Health and Safety at work;   
• A strong command of the English language;
• Management and delegation skills and experience;
• Previous supervisory experience, preferably within a restaurant.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
