Job Overview

We are looking for ambitious Chefs to join our kitchen team! You would work on various stations in a high-volume kitchen environment as a chef. He / She is responsible for creating an exceptional guest culinary experience through preparation, cooking, and food presentation.

 

Main Duties

  • Provide the hotel guests with the highest and most efficient hospitality service.

  • Works in the designated station as set by the supervisor.

  • Able to organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders.

  • Able to produce quality products promptly and efficiently for the guests or staff.

  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation at the assigned work area.

  • Responsible for preparing and cooking all food items by following recipes, yield guide, and specifications.

  • Checks supplies and prep lists and ensures all items are prepped in a timely fashion.

  • Replenishes service lines as needed, restocks, and prepares the workstation for the next shift.

  • Ensures that all products are correctly stored in the correct location at the appropriate levels at all times.

Requisiti professionali

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef, minimum two years 

  • Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, tools, and processes

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

  • Great time management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Knowledge of best and latest cooking practices

  • Culinary school diploma
