The Esbjerg Offices constitute the headquarters for all Maersk Oil production activities in the Danish sector of the North Sea. Approximately 350 onshore employees are working in the office on a daily basis and the working environment is international, dynamic and characterized by highly skilled and motivated employees. We Offer The Metering group is a technical expert group of 6 members, part of the Well and Reservoir Management department. The group supports the operation and maintenance of offshore flow meters. The meters are used for custody transfer, CO2 monitoring and production allocation and are located on the offshore production platforms in the Danish sector of the North Sea. To meet the increasing requirements on performance of meters, the metering group is embarking on several initiatives to be able to perform the responsibilities more effectively and efficiently. Examples are: Continuous surveillance of measurements Increased cooperation with vendor and customers (internal and external) Process improvements in the areas of execution of maintenance and projects and hydrocarbon fluid properties understanding. Key Responsibilities The metering team lead will report to the head of metering and allocation and will be part of the Well and Reservoir Management leadership team. The metering team lead has the following key responsibilities: Leading, coaching and development of team members Coordination of activities, prioritisation of tasks Communication and alignment with relevant internal and external parties (regulator, vendors, offshore, Copenhagen office) Drive the continuous improvement efforts Budget management Who we are looking for You hold a degree in Engineering (e.g. Chemistry, Mechanical) and have 10+ years of experience in an engineering environment. You enjoy working with people and have the ability to coach and empower others. You have strong analytical and communication skills, easily adjusting to the situation. You are able to see the overview and understand the details. You enjoy improving processes and ways of working. Proficiency in both verbal and written English is a prerequisite. Previous experience as a team leader is not a pre-requisite. The work will primarily take place in the offices in Esbjerg. Some travel activities abroad as well as visits at our offshore facilities may be expected.
