GENERAL OPERATIVES (GROUNDWORKS or GENERAL LABOURING or PIPE LAYERS)
Location: Kilkenny
Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time
We are currently seeking experienced General Operatives to join our team in Kilkenny. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected company on a busy, well-organised site, contributing to a range of groundworks and civil engineering projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out general site and groundworks duties as directed
- Support excavation, pipe laying, concreting, and backfilling works
- Operate small tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment on site
- Assist trades and machine operators as required
- Follow site safety procedures and instructions from supervisors
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in groundworks, general labouring, or pipe laying
- Safe Pass certification (essential)
- Manual Handling certificate (advantageous)
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
