Chef de Rang
The Chef de Rang is responsible for providing exceptional table service to guests, ensuring their needs are anticipated and met. He/she is in charge of welcoming guests and escorting them to the table, serving food and drinks and offering advice and recommendations.
The ideal candidate has a clean and tidy appearance and a friendly and people-oriented attitude.
The Chef de Rang's duties include taking care of the mise en place, welcoming guests, presenting the menu and answering any questions about the dishes, as well as recommending food-wine pairings.
Interpersonal and communication skills, customer service, Secondary school. Previous experience within a 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant is required.
Board, lodging and medical assistance are offered.
