Overview: Taxi drivers provide transportation services to passengers, operating taxis while ensuring passenger safety and adhering to traffic laws. Responsibilities:
- Drive taxis and ensure compliance with traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist passengers
- Utilize local area knowledge to choose efficient routes
- Ensure passenger safety and handle payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle
- Communicate with dispatchers or central offices
- Keep accurate records of trips, miles, and fares
- Adhere to taxi driving rules and regulations
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Taxi driver's license or permit (as required)
- Knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong focus on passenger safety and adherence to regulations
- Physical stamina for extended driving hours
- Professional appearance and reliability
- Clean criminal record (may be required)
