Project Planner
As a Project planner you are responsible for setting up and coordinating planning for projects, both during the tender phase and the contract phase, in accordance with work agreements, in order to allow departments, including project management, to monitor project progress and to optimise capacity.
Your job responsibilities include:
- Consultation with all disciplines involved (including Engineering, Procurement, Production engineering, Production, Testing & Commissioning and Project Management) relating to required resources and order of activities
- Setting up project/portfolio planning based on optimal collaboration with disciplines
- Monitoring, updating and distributing project planning and reports
- Ensuring the budget within the planning matches the work budget
- Implementation and follow-up on planning of suppliers and sub-contractors
- Detecting bottlenecks and presenting solutions
- Setting up capacity reports for various scenarios including histograms for current projects and forecast prospects
- Developing and assuring integral planning standards
- Process improvement analyses
- Generating key figures
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor working and thinking level
• Knowledge of processes in engineering/procurement/construction projects
• Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in facilitating schedules in a matrix environment
• An ability to understand and solve problems analytically.
• A good command of written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of project management methods
• Excellent knowledge of project planning tools (i.e. MSProject Server)
• Knowledge of MS Office / ERP systems
