The Department The department is located in Esbjerg and consists of Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Immunology, Clinical Microbiology and Surgical Pathology. Apart from these the department also includes a Hygienic unit and a modern Laboratory for Molecular Biology. The Hospital of Southwest Jutland is acute hospital for this part of Denmark. The clinic is kept updated with the latest technology. There is an up to date and well-functioning immunohistochemistry laboratory, and in the Laboratory for Molecular Biology we have possibilities for FISH, CISH and PCR. Profile We are looking for candidates with a broad experience in surgical pathology and cytology. Applicants should indicate their specific areas of interest. The applicant will by employment be involved in both basic functions, but will also get involved in diagnostics with due regard to individual interests.
