We are looking for a service-minded and reliable seasonal waitress/server to join our team at Hotell Tjamstan in Malå, northern Sweden. In this role, you will work both in our hotel restaurant and at Laven, our restaurant by the ski area. You will meet different types of guests, including hotel guests, conference visitors, skiers, and other customers, which makes the work varied and dynamic.
You will be part of a small and dedicated team where flexibility, cooperation, and a positive attitude are important. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can provide friendly and professional service, and wants to help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests throughout the season.
- Previous experience in restaurant service, hospitality, or similar customer-facing work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a strong service mindset
- Ability to stay organized and calm during busy service periods
- Flexibility and willingness to work in two different environments: the hotel restaurant and Laven, our ski area restaurant
- Ability to communicate in English; Swedish is an advantage but not required
- Basic understanding of food service, guest care, and hygiene routines
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a good team atmosphere
- Experience from hotel restaurants, cafés, ski resorts, or other seasonal destinations
- Experience with table service, bar service, buffet service, or cashier work
- Basic knowledge of Swedish
- Interest in winter destinations, outdoor life, and working in a small local community
- Ability to adapt quickly to different guest flows and work situations
- Experience in international or multicultural work environments
- A varied and exciting seasonal position in northern Sweden
