Job offer description

Join us in creating an unforgettable winter season in Lapland 2026–2027! Several of our partner companies in Lapland are looking for experienced chefs for the winter season. Our goal is to find a position that perfectly matches your preferences! We are looking for chefs for a variety of roles: À la carte, buffet, breakfast, pizza, burger chefs, and assistant chefs. If you have experience in any of these roles, we would love to hear from you! We are also recruiting for kitchen supervisor roles, such as Head Chefs and Kitchen Managers. Duration of employment: Our aim is to find a work period that suits you. Jobs start flexibly between October and December and end between March and April. Some employees work only during the busiest Christmas season. Location: Positions are located throughout Lapland, especially in villages near ski resorts. Some destinations are lively and popular among younger travelers, while others offer peace in the middle of nature. Locations include Rovaniemi, Levi, Ranua, Luosto, Ruka, Ylläs, Saariselkä, Utsjoki, and Kemi. Working hours: A typical contract is 90–112.5 hours per 3 weeks, which averages approximately 30–37.5 hours per week. Salary: Salary typically ranges from €13–20/hour depending on the role and your experience, plus additional compensation such as double pay on Sundays and public holidays, as well as evening and night shift bonuses according to the collective agreement. Accommodation: Accommodation is usually arranged either by us or by the client company. Options generally include shared rooms or, when possible, single rooms with shared facilities. Rent typically ranges from €250 to €550 depending on the accommodation. Environment: The season is busiest during Christmas and the school holiday weeks in February. The number of shifts varies depending on demand. Lapland winters are cold, with temperatures typically ranging between -5°C and -30°C, and wind can make it feel even colder. Commuting often involves some walking in freezing conditions. Bring your friend or partner: We aim to arrange jobs in the same company or area so you can also share accommodation. By recommending Bolt.Works to your friends, you can earn a referral bonus. You start earning the bonus as soon as your friend gets employed through Bolt and you work at the same time. We pay €1 for every hour your friend works, up to 250 hours, and there is no limit to the number of referrals. We interview applicants throughout the summer and early autumn and make selections continuously during the recruitment process.
