Technical Documentation Coordinator
When people use Google products, the servers in our data centers do the work--around the clock and around the world. For over ten years we've been building some the world's most efficient these data centers. As part of the data center team, you will operate, monitor, and support facility activities at Google's data centers. You ensure that problems are identified and repaired quickly, that contractors deliver quality services and preventive maintenance, and that safety measures are being performed. You bring the ideas of our Data Center Engineers to life and develop creative approaches to improve efficiencies and reduce operational costs.
The key function is to manage all critical documents for the Construction and Operation of Google’s Data Centers in the region by the organization of data, implementation of scalable processes and the use of professional tools. Prior experience and knowledge in document control, process management, facilities management, and construction processes are essential. Responsibilities
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and available for operations.
- Administer Engineering Change Notice [ECN] process and other automated document workflows.
- Provide input and guidance for the setup and compliance of document control for construction projects.
- Coordinate handover of documentation between construction projects and operations.
Minimum qualifications
- IT diploma or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of facilities management or construction management knowledge.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Windchill and Google Drive.
- Knowledge of ISO standards for document control such as 27000 series, 9000 series, 15489 and 10244.
