About the Role
Akershusgruppen is continuously looking for experienced restaurant managers and operational leaders for their venues in Tromsø.
You will have full responsibility for the daily operation of the restaurant, leading both people and performance. The role is hands-on and requires strong leadership presence on the floor.
Depending on your background, opportunities may include restaurant manager roles or progression into senior leadership positions within the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for daily restaurant operations
- Lead, motivate, and develop the front-of-house team
- Ensure consistently high service standards and guest satisfaction
- Staffing, scheduling, and service planning
- Financial management, including budgeting and cost control
- Recruitment, onboarding, and team development
- Close collaboration with kitchen leadership
What We Are Looking For
- Experience as a restaurant manager, assistant manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of high-paced restaurant operations
- Proven leadership skills and ability to build strong teams
- Structured, solution-oriented, and performance-driven
- Passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality guest experiences
- Willingness to relocate to Tromsø
- Speak English fluently
