Regional Category Manager

Then you might be the new Regional Category Manager we are looking for at Danfoss Refrigeration & A/C Controls. You will join a growing division and be part of the Project Procurement team in Denmark supporting our factories in Kolding and Nordborg. Your job will be cross-functional, and you will be navigating in a field of multiple internal stakeholders, locally and internationally. You will report to the Regional Head of Procurement and be located in Kolding or Nordborg. Focus on procurement activities and a cross-functional mind-set In cooperation with the team, your main focus will be on the tactical level, and you will execute and support the coordination of regional procurement projects and activities. You will participate in identifying, building, and executing the divisional KPI pipeline. Your key tasks will be: •Execution and coordination of regional procurement projects and activities •Participating in identifying, building and executing the cost optimisation pipeline in the region •Running supplier consolidation projects and ensuring implementation according to TS16949 requirements (Change Control, PPAP etc.) •Take part in global teams driving the supply base in terms of quality, delivery and commercial terms •Facilitation of technical cost-down activities in the region on product and/or component level •Ensuring alignment in the supplier base across the countries Proactive, committed, and business-oriented You have a relevant educational background or procurement-related experience from the manufacturing industry. A background within electronics or electromechanics would be an advantage. You have a commercial mind-set, and preferably, a financial understanding and flair for technology. Furthermore, you have solid analytical skills, are familiar with SAP R/3, and are a skilled user of MS Office. You are a proactive self-starter with a high drive, ambition, and a positive can-do attitude. You are committed and a competent networker, who ensures optimal cooperation with all stakeholders. Furthermore, you can cope with many different tasks at the same time, and you approach all your tasks – small as well as large ones – with a great drive.
