Mobile App Developer 

Your Responsibilties: 

As a Mobile App Developer at Philips Research, your key areas of responsibility are:

·         Responsible for the design, realization and test of a system, component or module; understands and communicates consequences of his/her design on the architecture;

·         Designs on the basis of design specifications in accordance with the functional specifications;

·         Ensures that there is proper documentation for the developed software / hardware (Technical Product Documentation;

·         Combines newly developed, existing and/or purchased components;

·         Solves PRs and CRs (Problem Reports and Change Requests);

·         Draws up personal schedule and reports on progress;

·         Performs work in line with the processes that have been agreed in the department;

·         Is responsible for input in the planning process;

·         Responsible for organizing reviews with experts (including peer reviews);

·         Constructive contribution to project team and department; 

·         Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study of the literature and technical contacts.

We are looking for

The successful Mobile App Developer has/is: 

·         Strong experience in developing cross-platform native and web apps for iOS and Android; 

·         A Bachelor or Master Education in software or electronics engineering or other relevant discipline; 

·         At least 10 years of experience with system development e.g. requirements management, design principals, verification methods, working with a quality system; 

·         At least 10 years of experience with broad range of software development such as Java, .NET, relational database, PHP, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, Restful, SOAP, UI concepts;

·         Experience with working in development projects e.g. experience with working incremental, Lean, Agile, nonfunctional requirements and under change management.
