Would you like to join our dedicated teams of international colleagues and work with some of the world's largest offshore wind projects? Join us as Lead Commissioning Manager in our Lead Site & Commissioning Management Department, where we are working to realise our 2020 strategy and HSE goals. You will participate in the execution of our offshore wind projects, being responsible for the mobilisation, operation and demobilisation of offshore wind farm construction sites, including the supervision of installation and commissioning works. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of five business unit in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at one of our Danish offices in either Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area, or alternatively in our London office in the United Kingdom on local terms and conditions. You should, however, expect some travelling and stays on sites in Northern Europe in relation to your work. Initially, you will be working on one of our British offshore wind projects, and once the project is finished, you will be re-assigned to another project and site. Areas of responsibility As Lead Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, execution and coordination of onshore and offshore commissioning activities, securing of interfaces, identification of deliverables and supporting documentation in close corporation with the package managers and affected commissioning managers and their organisations. On site, your direct reference is the Construction Project Manager. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: manage and allocate the SAP organisation prepare, communicate and implement a commissioning management manual and program, including organisation, roles and responsibilities, meeting structure, KPI's, plans and procedures coordinate and secure commissioning activities within HSE, QA/QC, project and contractors, national grid and O&M ensure optimal operation and planning of wind farm capacity during the commissioning period until transfer to O&M participate in tender processes to ensure compliance with commissioning requirements. Your profile You have a relevant technical education, for example a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, combined with high-level management experience from large-scale projects from offshore wind farm projects, thermal power plant/CCGT projects or similar. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you have strong communication skills, and that you speak and write English fluently. Moreover, you are able to corporate effectively and efficiently across professional disciplines, and you can create results through team-work as well as work independently. You have a proactive and result-orientated approach and are prepared to work intensely during busy periods. Moreover, you handle your tasks with an inquisitive approach and thrive on working in a constantly changing international environment. In addition, you will have a strong personal drive and a robust sense of quality and professionalism. You will also be resilient and persistent. Finally, you have a well-developed common sense and ability to grasp the essence of any given circumstance.
