We are looking for a new leader to lead onshore and offshore personnel working on rig operations. Do you have strong people management skills, extensive experience and insight from the Oil Industry? And would you like to take on an exciting and challenging position where you will be a key player in carrying out complex rig projects? We Offer You will become part of our Esbjerg Office where we run all production activities in the Danish sector of the North Sea. Here, approximately 500 onshore employees work on a daily basis, and you will become part of an international, challenging and hectic work environment where you will lead highly skilled and dedicated employees. Since your team will be based both onshore and offshore, you will have significant management challenges where you need to be able to lead from a distance. You will also occasionally need to travel offshore yourself – at least a few times per year – and your approach to management should have a strong operational focus where you actively participate in relevant ongoing rig operations, including staying in daily contact with drilling rigs and the Drilling Department. Key Responsibilities The Well Services Department is responsible for all well related issues being well intervention, well maintenance, well integrity and well completion equipment and technology. Your mission is to actively participate in rig projects which entails preparation, completion and work-over programs. To do this, you collaborate with the Drilling Department and the Petroleum Engineering Department. More specifically, you motivate and lead minimum 3 onshore Completion Engineers and 10 Offshore Well Services Supervisors instruct Well Services Offshore Supervisors on the job and actively support their activities. In cooperation with other sections, you ensure that the necessary equipment and personnel are mobilised correct completion design always striving to use standard sub-assemblies. And, when you do design unique sub-assemblies, you ensure that these are made in accordance with the completion design prepare contract work orders and service orders in accordance with valid procedures and agreements between the Drilling Department and Well Services issue necessary instructions to our warehouses for packing and shipping of equipment. Also, you ensure that tools are purchased and developed in order to fulfil current operational requirements as well as make proposals for improvement of the equipment keep up to date with the completion techniques and procedures applied by the company and initiate further development of these in cooperation with other sections and departments to ensure operational continuity Who we are looking for You probably hold a degree in Engineering combined with extensive experience within this field. In addition, you are: structured, ensuring that all safety, technical and economic aspects have been considered prior to making decisions proactive as you make sure that necessary initiatives are carried out in due time in all matters.
