  • Working in our engineering team you will become responsible for the development and realisation of complex mechatronic systems in the field of beamline instrumentation, high vacuum and optical research equipment, with highest demands on quality and precision.
  • As project manager, you are coordinating all scientific, technical and logistics issues with our worldwide customers and the local team within the company to design and build state-of-the-art instrumentation within the given boundary conditions in time and budget.
  • With the support of highly experienced physicist and engineers you are responsible for testing and verifying the performance of those instruments in our facility and perform installations and final acceptance test on-site together with the final customer.
Anforderungen an die Stelle
  • Your professional experience working as an engineer or instrumentation scientist in the fields of beamlines, vacuum technology and/or precision mechanical systems is proven and acknowledged with good references.
  • An academic degree (ideally M.Sc, Diploma or higher) in the fields of mechanical engineering, precision mechanics, physics or related fields.
  • Your independent way of working is emphasized by your high level of diligence, personal responsibility, reliability and sense for quality awareness.
  • You are a team player with positive attitude and have well sensed communication skills, which allow you to communicate with colleagues as well as our worldwide scientific customers.
  • Besides being a fluent English speaker, it is advantageous to also have some language skills in German.
