We are looking for a motivated and reliable Cook to join our team at Hotel Roškar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of daily snacks, lunches, and à la carte dishes, following established recipes and quality standards.
Your main tasks will include:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting meals in accordance with customer orders and menu guidelines
- Ensuring the freshness, taste, and visual appeal of all dishes served
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Following all hygiene and food safety regulations
- Collaborating with other kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation
- Assisting in menu planning and stock management when required
Education:
- Completed secondary vocational education in the field of gastronomy, culinary arts, or a related discipline.
Work Experience:
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
- Experience with food preparation, portioning, and plating is essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for preparing and presenting meals.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented attitude with a positive and professional approach to work.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.
