Then come to the youth hostel Munich-City with 402 beds and become part of a team of 43 people. From 01.06.2026 - 40 hrs/week – alternating in early or late duty, 5 days spread over Mon-Sun (Sunday and public holiday surcharges (50%))
Tasks:
- Quiet and reliable cooperation in the catering of our guests
- Cooking according to instructions for guests and seminar groups
- Support the kitchen management in planning, purchasing and staffing
- Delivery of meals and service of the buffet
- Creative implementation of organic food, sustainability and resource conservation
- Acceptance of goods and inventory control
- Compliance with hygiene regulations (HACCP) and quality standards
- Flushing and cleaning in the kitchen

Additional information: Requirements for the applicant:
Basic knowledge: Kitchen cleaning
Advanced knowledge: food safety system HACCP, goods acceptance, goods entry control
Expert knowledge: preparing and arranging meals
- Educated as a chef/cook or relevant work experience
- Alternatively: Master of Cuisine or equivalent qualification
- Ambition, creativity and commitment
- Teamwork and willingness to take responsibility
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends or holidays (by arrangement)
- Careful appearance and friendly treatment of guests
