Job Description
As a Chef de Partie, you will be supporting the Chef delivering consistently high-quality food and handling purchase orders. You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality food that meets the Chef's standards, and ensuring that your station is sanitary and well-stocked.

What you’ll do
- Prepare specific food items and meal components at your station
- Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superior to complete the daily tasks
- Collaborate with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service
- Keep your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary
- Stocktake and order supplies for your station
- Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times
- Ensure the ingredients in the dish are the same as what is stated on the menu
- Operate and maintain all department equipment and report of malfunctioning
- Check periodically expiry dates and proper storage of food items in the section
- Improve your food preparation methods based on feedback
- Assist in other areas of the kitchen when required
What we are looking for
- Proven experience as Chef de Partie
- A culinary degree
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
- Ability to work in a team
- High energy, ability to work under pressure, good organizational skills and interpersonal skills
