The Great Southern Killarney is looking for experienced, highly efficient, well presented, well organised and energetic experienced Bartender for our Conference & Banqueting department. The hours will be part-time shifts, 16-24 hours, weekends but hours available midweek too. (possibility exists of more hours in Browne's Bar in the main house)

The ideal candidate is someone who's is passionate about Guest Service, has bags of stamina and enjoys the fast pace of working in an award winning 4* plus environment. You also need to be able to stay calm and work as part of a team during a frenetic service and ensure a fantastic guest experience by following clear instruction and assisting your team-mates where needed.

Key delivery areas:

As C&B Bartender your main function will be to provide excellent customer service by professionally and efficiently preparing and serving beverage to our Guests and food service where required.

The Successful Candidate will:

• Have previous experience in a similar role at 4*/5* level - required
• Have a friendly and outgoing manner
• Be well-presented and maintain a professional image at all times through appearance
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have fluent English, both verbal and written
• Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service
• Be a team player, flexible
• Have knowledge of food, wine and cocktails
• Have local knowledge of Killarney
