Technical Sales Manager

For the company ICsense in Leuven we are looking for:

Responsibilities

• Explore new leads and closely follow-up potential business opportunities
• Conduct high level technical discussions with customers to acquire a clear project definition
• Qualify and define projects in close cooperation with the technical staff
• Optimize the business case for projects in close cooperation with our suppliers
• Draft quotations based on the business case definition and present them to customers
• Follow your projects closely with a high degree of service and support to the customer
• Become a trusted advisor for your customers and create a steady and long term relationship based on mutual trust
• Attend and participate in trade shows, exhibitions and networking events
• Assist in business communication (e.g. press releases, newsletters, brochures, presentations) to improve awareness and the branding of ICsense
• Report monthly on forecast, sales plans/activities
• Consult regularly with Chief Business Development Officer on long and short term sales forecasts

Competences

• You have a Master degree in Electronics
• You have experience working in a technical position related to ASIC design
• You are challenged by defining technically complex projects and you like giving technical advice to others
• You have the ability to assimilate complex information and present ideas in a simple and effective way
• You have a natural flair combined with good communication and presentation skills
• You are enthusiastic, dynamic and convincing
• You are driven by customer satisfaction
• You communicate fluently in English (oral and written)
• You have the ability to build relationships at all levels
• You are able to travel (20%)
