À la Carte Waiter / Waitress

We are looking for a positive and energetic À la Carte Waiter / Waitress to join our team for the winter season 2026 - 2027. At Restaurant Kaunis, you will be serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner while enjoying a truly unique view, as the hotel is located on top of the Kaunispää fell.

Our goal is to create unforgettable moments for our guests through warm and genuine service, menus inspired by the North, carefully selected wines, and breathtaking views unlike anywhere else. As both our guests and team are international, English is used as the primary working language.

You have an eye for detail and the ability to anticipate guests’ needs, always striving to provide the best possible guest experience.

We value flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to develop professionally. A positive team spirit is also extremely important to us - regardless of the department you work in, we are all part of the same team.

The employment period will be from November 2026 until the end of March 2027 with a full-time contract (112.5 hours / 3 weeks).

• Ability to recognize and respond to individual guest needs
• Good communication skills and a strong team-player mindset
• The ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism
• Previous experience in à la carte and buffet service
• Confidence and skills in bar work
• Good English language skills

• Previous experience working in a multicultural environment
• Understanding and respect for people from different backgrounds
• Ability to adapt to different working methods, company practices, and rules
• A category B driving license is not required but is considered an advantage. Having your own car will help with transportation to work, as the hotel is located on top of a fell
