The Project Manager mission shall performs with the objective of the best execution of the contractual obligations contained in the General Contractor contracts that GSE is involved into. He/she is reporting to the Project Director.

Preparation of the offer, analysis of feasibility and pricing for new project. Assistance to the Business Development Manager, during the negotiation with the investor.

Optimize the project in cooperation with the external consultants in order to meet the technical specifications of the Investor and optimize all cost-technical issues of the project.

Support the Business Development Manager during the signature of the contract

Manage the tendering with the subcontractors and select the pool of subcontractors for the execution of the works.

Study of the timetable and preparation of the computerised construction schedule.

Participation in the meetings on the technical development and adjustment of the sub-contractor production plans, with the Architect and the Site Supervisor.

Monitoring of the conformity of the work done with the specifications in the contractual documents, in terms of quality, deadlines and costs.

Instruct the Site Manager about the project organization and the strategy

Organization and management of the work site meetings.Coordination and management of the harmonization of the Execution Design from all subcontractors involved in the project

Organize and manage the Quality Plan Control as per the Standard GSE procedure

Coordination with Safety and Health coordinator

Verification, supervision of the production plans and the inclusion of adaptations

Updating of the financial situation of the project

Checking and approval of the work progress submitted by all subcontractors

Coordination and preparation of the investor schedule of payments.

Organization of the building acceptance operations, and taking part in these operations, in relation with the inspection authorities, supervision of the lifting of any reserves.

Preparation, for submission to the client of the “completed works document” which contains all operating instructions for the works, layout plans and detailed as-built drawings.

The position is based in Saarbrucken or Bochum (travelling will be required about 50% of the time depending of the location of the projects)
