We are looking for a driven Project Engineer to strengthen our Engineering department within Sarens Projects.
Your tasks as a Project Engineer:
- You handle requests that come to you via various internal stakeholders: gathering information, analysing plans, estimating technical drawings, etc.
- Together with your fellow Project Engineers, you devise tailor-made technical solutions. For this purpose, you call upon Sarens' rich fleet of equipment (cranes, pontoons, jack-up material, various support structures, etc.).
- You make detailed calculations and sketches to further shape the technical concept.
- You give instructions to the CAD designers to draw the technical solution and necessary lifting plans in detail.
- You sporadically go on site visits if necessary for the project.
- You engage in dialogue and are in close contact with the internal stakeholders. For example, you regularly coordinate on the feasibility of the technical solution, customer requirements, etc.
In this position, you report to the Teamlead Engineering and work closely with various departments (internal stakeholders).
Wij zijn op zoek naar een gedreven teamspeler met sterke analytische skills. Je hebt een passie voor techniek, zware constructies en heavy lifting. Je voelt je als een vis in het water bij het interpreteren, analyseren, berekenen en schetsen van technische tekeningen. Door middel van je sterk technisch inzicht en conceptueel denkvermogen bedenk je samen met je collega Project Engineers indrukwekkende technische oplossingen op maat. Je ben flexibel, zelfstandig en je communiceert steeds op een heldere en duidelijke manier naar je collega’s en interne stakeholders.
De profielvereisten
- Master Industrieel of Burgerlijk Ingenieur (bv. Elektromechanica, Bouwkunde…).
- Ervaring als Project Engineer in een technische projectomgeving (idealiter heavy lifting sector).
- Interesse in de heavy lifting wereld (de projecten, het equipment...).
- Communicatief sterk: Engels = uitstekende kennis, kennis van het Nederlands, Frans of Duits is een pluspunt.
- Vlot met de computer (MS Office). Kennis van AutoCAD.
