we are seeking talented and passionate chefs of all levels to join our kitchen team, both full and part time roles available. the ideal candidate will:
- have a proven track record in similar style kitchen and have experience.
- have the ability to work well on their own initiative and in a team environment
- have strong interpersonal and communication skills
the chef is responsible for delivering high standards of food preparation and presentation in accordance with the hotel standards and by doing so creating a positive experience for the hotel guests.
Main responsibilities include:
- To support the head chef and kitchen team in the daily operation of the hotel kitchen work plan
- to assist daily in the mis en place and production
- to undertake duties according to menu specifications set out by the head chef
- to maintain the work area at all times in hygienic conditions in accordance with the health and safety standards
- to work in Compliance with the kitchen requirements in the areas of cleanliness, hygiene safety, food waste and cost control
- knowledge of HACCP is essential
