- Help the Sous Chef and the Executive Chef to develop new dishes and menus
- Order and keep stocked the common ingredients for all cooking stations (vegetables, meat, spices, etc.)
- Monitor the expiration dates of goods and use them before expiring
- Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
- Train and supervise junior chefs
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
- Keep a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance (grooming standards, clean uniform, body odors)
- Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
- Enthusiastic with friendly personality
- Relevant experience ideally within a hotel environment or luxury restaurant
- Culinary Degree or related major would be a plus
