Description



Do you want to educate our associates and equip them with product and clinical knowledge? Are you a visionary and decisive manager as well as an excellent communicator?



This position demands a Training Manager who is well-versed in people management and is able to perform the change management needed for Radiometer to achieve its goals.



The Radiometer Training Department is currently going through a shift from being training consultants to training partners of product groups, where they will have closer relationships with product managers and own all product content. The training team is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing initiatives through the design, development, coordination and/or implementation of ongoing training programs. Programs include: sales/service/specialist skills, product knowledge, and clinical knowledge; as well as managing professional learning programs.





The job



To become successful, you must have a strategic, rather than reactive training philosophy. Your responsibilities and tasks will be to:

•Develop and coordinate core content covering product knowledge, customer knowledge, key clinical data, as well as relevant selling and supporting environment information to ensure all commercial associates are fully knowledgeable of all key focus areas for Radiometer.

•Develop training curriculum for existing sales, marketing and service force to improve product knowledge, clinical knowledge, competitive selling skills, and technical support expertise to name a few.

•Develop, manage and maintain content and direction for all product training programs.

•Work with General Managers to develop training programs for commercial associates.

•Be responsible for growing and maintaining the Radiometer University.

•Change the organization to see training as a strategic partner for growth.

•Manage team of two Training Consultants.





Qualifications

•Master’s degree required (in business, HR or communications is preferred).

•4+ years of successful sales or sales training experience in medical device field with emphasis on hospital selling.

•3+ years of successful experience developing and implementing sales and service training programs and/or experience as a designated/compensated field sales/service trainer.

•2+ years of people management.

•Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%.

•Preference will be given to candidates with sales or marketing management experience in the medical industry.

•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

•Strong interpersonal/ relationship building skills with a proven record of achievement in sales/marketing/service related activities.

•High attention for detail and follow through.
