Speech & Language Therapist
The Post Holder will be responsible for the planning and provision of Speech & Language Therapy Services to include Assessment diagnostics and Intervention Therapies and may include working with a multi-disciplinary team to develop plans to support children and their family.
Services will be provided to children aged 0-18 years and may have physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism.
Applicants should:
- BSc in Speech and Language Therapy or its equivalent.
- CORU Registration is essential.
- At least 6 months post qualification clinical experience working as a Speech & Language Therapist with children.
- Be enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Ensure a holistic, Client centred approach in their practice.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills & proven verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner and to work as part of a team.
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Good IT and computer skills.
- Effective use of reflective practice/supervision process.
- Some flexibility in working hours will be required to meet the needs of the service.
- Be eligible to work in Ireland.
- Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- The successful candidate will be offered Continuing Professional Development and Clinical Supervision.
Job Type: Part-time with a view to Full-time.
