Job offer description

The Post Holder will be responsible for the planning and provision of Speech & Language Therapy Services to include Assessment diagnostics and Intervention Therapies and may include working with a multi-disciplinary team to develop plans to support children and their family.

Services will be provided to children aged 0-18 years and may have physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism.

Job requirements

Applicants should:

  • BSc in Speech and Language Therapy or its equivalent.
  • CORU Registration is essential.
  • At least 6 months post qualification clinical experience working as a Speech & Language Therapist with children.
  • Be enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Ensure a holistic, Client centred approach in their practice.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills & proven verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner and to work as part of a team.
  • Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Good IT and computer skills.
  • Effective use of reflective practice/supervision process.
  • Some flexibility in working hours will be required to meet the needs of the service.
  • Be eligible to work in Ireland.
  • Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • The successful candidate will be offered Continuing Professional Development and Clinical Supervision.

Job Type: Part-time with a view to Full-time.

Nice to have

Full EU Driving Licence.
