The Oranmore Lodge Hotel Galway Ireland is a 4* hotel located in Galway city. The company are now recruiting a SOUS CHEF - 2nd CHEF. This job is to assist the Head Chef in the operation of a kitchen which services 2 restaurants, a bar and banqueting for 150 people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- be organised and at all times fully au fais with the business demands of the company
- assist and monitor portion and wastage controls and stock rotation
- monitor at all times the quality of cooked meals to ensure that the highest of standards are med
- co-ordinate and supervise staff under your control ensuring that presentation and quality are achieved and organise training where necessary
- maintain a good working relationship with other departments within the company
- maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, HACCP, Health and Sfety ensuring that all regulatory requirements are adhered to
- ensure that all records are completed accurately in line with the various statutory regulations
- to attend company department meetings when requested to do so
- any other reasonable requests made by management from time to time
Qualifications required:
- a nationally recognised chef´s school / college certificate / diploma
- a nationally recognised Hygiene certificate
- at least 4 years experience post qualification working as a full time chef in a restaurant or hotel
- advanced level of English
Salary: €30,000.00 to €35,000.00 gross pre annum paid weekly
