We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and customer-oriented receptionist to join our team at Castle Durrow, a family-run hotel renowned for its charm and hospitality. As a receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive a warm welcome and have a pleasant stay. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will contribute to creating a positive and memorable experience for our guests

Responsibilities:

1. Guest Services:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude, providing a personal and professional experience upon arrival.

- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of reservations.

- Provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions, offering recommendations and directions as needed.

- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.

- Maintain guest records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

2. Front Desk Operations:

- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and courteous manner, addressing inquiries and taking reservations.

- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are prepared for arrivals and any guest requests are fulfilled promptly.

- Manage and handle financial transactions, including processing payments, issuing invoices, and balancing daily transactions.

- Maintain an organized and clean front desk area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.

3. Administrative Support:

- Assist with administrative tasks, such as sorting and distributing mail and maintaining office supplies.

- Assist in maintaining and updating the hotel's database, including guest profiles and reservation information.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest experiences.

- Support the management team with various tasks and projects as assigned.

Requisitos do cargo

- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in the hotel industry.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software.

- Knowledge of local attractions, services, and amenities to assist guests effectively.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
