Descrição da oferta de emprego

What do we offer?

Do you know about analytical design of mechanical housing? And would you like to apply your functional expertise to work with mechatronic product development in a market-leading global company? Then join the High End Pumps Mechatronics department at our headquarters in Bjerringbro. We are responsible for developing mechanical housing and electronics for all Grundfos high end products. Here, you will get to work with skilled and dedicated engineers with either mechanical or electronic expertise focusing on cross-functional mechatronic solutions. You refer to Senior Manager Thomas Ditlev. ”In this position, you will get the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge to help develop future Grundfos products. You join a dynamic and competent team of 13 engineers, who collaborate closely and spar with each other on a daily basis,” Thomas explains.

What is the job about?

As our new mechanical developer, you will spend most of your time designing and developing mechanical housing for electronics, primarily control boxes, but you will also develop mechanical platforms. Together with a team of mechanical and electronic developers, you develop, calculate and verify compact, complex products, making sure that mechanical and electronic designs function well together. “Your main challenge will be to develop a small part for a larger product, making sure that ends meet in the final product solution. You will be involved in very diverse tasks, from producing mechanical parts for a giant sanitary pump with few thermal and physical design restrictions to a tiny circulating pump, where you need to pay meticulous attention to detail,” Thomas says.

What do you need to apply?

You have a master’s degree in mechanics or electronics, preferably combined with 3-5 years of experience in a similar position. You are a skilled Catia user, and you have experience working with simulation of various mechanical design parameters, e.g. FEA or thermal. Also, you have great communication skills in English, and it would be an advantage, if you also know Danish and German. “On a personal level, you are outgoing and great at networking and connecting with people at various levels. With your strong communication and technical skills, you are able to drive the technical design process forward and share your knowledge, while drawing on the strengths of your colleagues. However, you also work well on your own, independently and proactively driving your tasks,” Thomas finishes.
