General and/or specialized nurses
We are looking for both general and specialized nurses for different specialties for all three hospitals in Region Kalmar (Kalmar, Oskarshamn and Västervik). Working as a general nurse, you take responsibility for ensuring that medical prescriptions are completed and that patients receive the care they need. You also have a lot of contact with the patient´s relatives. Our team consists of a good mixture of both experienced and new colleagues with fresh knowledge from universities. Together we create a workplace with great commitment and participation, where everyone gets the opportunity to be involved and influence decisions. The position as a nurse includes working shifts (evenings, nights and weekends).

A licensed registered nurse (within EU/EES) with a great drive and the ability to see the bigger picture. You are a great team player with a positive attitude. You are curious to learn and want to grow in your profession as a nurse. Our motto is that the best interest of the patient always comes first.
Before moving to Sweden we recommend you to reach B2 level in the Swedish language. Your license as a nurse needs to be recognized by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare.
Your employment will start with an introduction period. We provide further language studies in Swedish to reach the C1 level. If the trial period will be proved satisfactory , it will automatically turn into a permanent employment.
All contracts follow local and national collective agreements. Salary are set individually depending on your qualification and experience.
