SCOPE & GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: to maintain clean guest bedrooms, bathrooms corridors and pantries
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- To provide spotlessly clean bedrooms for all guests.
- To ensure all corridors, pantries are clean and well maintained on your floor.
- To report and hand in lost property to your supervisor immediately.
- To ensure that any special requests are adhered to in the guest bedrooms.
- To ensure that guest are well looked after at all times before, during and after their stay.
- To show respect for other team members at all times.
- To ensure all accommodation trolleys are adequately stocked and cleaned.
- To ensure weekly, monthly and yearly cleaning is carried out as requested by accommodation supervisor.
- To ensure all bathrooms are hygienically cleaned.
- To ensure all electrical items are in working order.
- To carry out daily cleaning of rooms and additional other duties as requested by the accommodation manager or supervisor.
- To attend training meeting as requested.
- To ensure a high level of security at all times with regard to master keys and guest bedrooms.
- To report any maintenance items to your supervisor.
- To report any suspicious behaviour of guests to a member of the management team.
- To control the amount of equipment, cleaning materials and guests supplies.
- To carry out any reasonable request as per the manager/supervisor
- To work as part of the Team, being aware of colleagues and their needs, and be flexible at all times to the requests of management
- To promote sales within the department and across the hotel
- To have pride and commitment in your area of work.
- To attend training sessions as required.
- To attend appraisal / assessments as required.
- To attend Hotel and Departmental Meetings as required, ensuring effective communication at all levels.
- To maintain all company policies and procedures.
- To ensure that all hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times as required by law.
- To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing and Employment as required by law.
