As a preschool teacher in Gällivare Municipality, we can offer you a meaningful and varied job with good opportunities for development. In Gällivare Municipality there are in total 14 preschools both in the central area and around in our rural villages. We actively work to promote children’s learning through language development, natural experiences, and cultural awareness. Our preschools are linguistically and culturally diverse, offering a rich and varied learning environment adapted to the children’s needs and interests.

We strive to create a safe and inspiring environment where every child is given the opportunity to develop based on their unique conditions, with focus on learning, sustainability, and inclusion. We are now looking for committed preschool teachers who want to help shape the preschool of the future in a municipality with strong community and scenic surroundings.

As a preschool teacher with us, your main tasks will be to:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching that promotes children’s development toward curriculum goals
• Support each child’s individual learning process and create a safe and inclusive environment
• Collaborate with colleagues, guardians, and other professionals to create the best possible conditions for each child’s learning
• Participate in the organization’s development work and contribute to realizing our shared vision

We are looking for someone who is a qualified and certified preschool teacher. We also welcome applications from those who have started or are soon to complete their preschool teacher education. You should be responsible, have clear leadership in the child group, and easily build good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.

Commitment, solution orientation, flexibility, creativity, and good collaboration skills are qualities we value highly. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
