Sjøbaren is now looking for an experienced and ambitious Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Bodø’s new seafood restaurant. This is a rare opportunity to build and shape a kitchen from day one in a brand-new concept, located directly on the waterfront in Ramsalt.
Our ambition is to create a restaurant with high quality, a strong and clear concept, and a positive working environment. We aim to offer guests a professional yet relaxed experience centered around seafood, wine, and cocktails, right in the heart of Bodø.
About the role
As Head Chef, you will have full responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations, quality standards, and menu development. You will be a key contributor to the overall concept and an important leader in building a strong, motivated kitchen team.
- Has experience as a Head Chef or an experienced Sous Chef ready for the next step.
- Demonstrates strong culinary skills and professional standards.
- Values structure, quality, and consistency.
- Enjoys leading, motivating, and developing people.
- Is motivated by the opportunity to build something new from the ground up.
- Has good experience with seafood.
- Speaks English fluently, speaking.
Speaking Norwegian is a big plus.
