We are currently seeking Assistant Cooks for different Slovenian companies.

The position of assistant cook involves supporting the head chef in meal preparation, cleaning and organizing the kitchen space, and ensuring proper storage and preparation of ingredients. 

An assistant cook may also assist in menu planning, receiving deliveries, and ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.

•  Basic knowledge and experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the head chef and other kitchen staff to efficiently prepare meals and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
• Capacity to work efficiently under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines during busy service periods.
• Flexibility to handle various tasks and adjust to changing kitchen demands, such as modifying recipes or accommodating special dietary needs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

The salary is dependent on work experience and is negotiated with the employer.
