Liguria is a narrow region stretching along the northern Mediterranean coast, bordered by France to the west.
- Population: ~1.5 million inhabitants

Population: ~42,000. A picturesque town known for its olive oil production and scenic coastline. - San Remo: Very famous for the Music Festival and for its Mediterranean climate, luxury tourism.

Economy:
Liguria’s economy is very varied and versatile, with strong sectors in maritime trade, tourism, agriculture, and services. Tourism: Major driver of the regional economy, especially along the coastline and in the Cinque Terre area. The region sees millions of visitors annually, drawn to its beaches, coastal villages, and cultural landmarks. Genoa is one of Italy’s main ports, and the region plays a key role in shipping, logistics, and shipbuilding. The region also has an emerging technology sector, especially around Genoa. Agriculture is also an important economic sector: Liguria is famous for its olive oil, wines, and fresh produce, particularly basil (used in pesto), which is a significant agricultural product.
Regarding Manufacturing & Technology, Liguria has a growing industrial sector, especially in shipbuilding, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing, supported by research and development initiatives.

The CPI are design to support both workers and employers in matching labor supply and demand. They offer a wide range of services: guidance, job placement, training and support to businesses in their search for personnel, as well as support for professional mobility in Europe through the EURES network.
