EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme (TMS) Germany will support you with your individual labour mobility project -  EURES counselling and financial support will help you and your future employer to overcome obstacles on your professional journey in Europe!

Would you like to move within Europe to take up a new job?

If so, EURES advisers can provide you with support and information on

  • labour market and working conditions in your European destination country,
  • searching for jobs, apprenticeships or traineeships,
  • writing a curriculum vitae,
  • social security issues ...

Search for EURES advisers in the EURES Portal. Your EURES Adviser will also show you how to access the financial support services offered by TMS Germany. EURES counselling is always a prerequisite for submitting an application!

If you are

  • citizen or long-term resident in an EU member state, Norway or Iceland and
  • looking for a new job, an apprenticeship in another EU member state, Norway or Iceland for at least 6 months,
  • at least 18 years old and have not yet reached the pension age,

you may be eligible for financial support to cover some of your costs for:

  • a one-off travel costs support when travelling to a job-interview,
  • a one-off relocation costs support after a successful placement before your move,
  • support for costs occurring for the recognition of academic and professional qualifications,
  • financial support for a preparatory language course in the country of origin, or in the country of destination,
  • additional travel support in connection with your application for travel expenses or relocation costs, if your place of residence is located in a peripheral region in EU Europe and this results in considerable additional travel costs or if you need a special form of assistance (e.g. travel companion),
  • family allowance in the case of a family move, if you are responsible for at least one child under the age of 18 or a person who is demonstrably in need of care and they move with you.

Through the Targeted Mobility Scheme the EU provides a financial instrument to support and develop EURES at the EU level and to support the matching of skilled candidates across Europe with employers with hard to fill vacancies. EURES is the largest network for promoting job mobility in Europe. The aim of EURES is to promote fair and sustainable professional mobility within Europe and to remove existing obstacles.
