Support Specialist
We are looking for the candidate to join the team responsible for Technical Service Ownership of PCIP application. PCIP stands for Parcel Carrier Integration Platform and offers printing carrier specific labels and manifests, exchanging EDI documents and shipment statuses as well as providing our customers transparent overview of the logistic chain.
Job Description:
- Application management of global parcel label printing solution (PCIP)
- Continuous requirements and change management processes incl. software vendor management
- Ensuring proper release tests and deployments in close collaboration with QA and datacenter teams
- Driving communication and collaboration between internal and external parties (software vendor, corporate QA team, business application owner and regional super users)
- Executing required service management activities based on Service Level Description and agreed KPIs
- Ensuring growing business demands covered by appropriate software and infrastructure architecture
- Controlling and adapting the related system- and process documentation
Skills and experience:
- Successfully completed university degree in the field of computer science, business information technology or comparable
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- High level of initiative, communication skills as well as a goal oriented and structured working methods
- Knowledge in communication protocols HTTP/ FTP, sFTP, WebServices
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
Advantageous skills:
- Familiar with Electronic Data Interchange standards: e.g EDIFACT
- Quality engineering experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft IIS, Oracle DB
- Experience with SoapUI, SQL Developer, Windows Printer Management
