Job description

Would you like to work in an amazing atmosphere in magical Lapland;

see northern lights, visit santa claus and spend your free time skiing on the slopes?

We are now looking for a HOUSEKEEPING STAFF to well-known Lapland Hotels-chains hotels and ski centers around Lapland.

As a housekeeper you have a important role in the hotel organization and you are responsible of keeping the rooms and public areas of the hotel neat and welcoming for the clients.

Winter season is starting in November/December 2023 and lasts till April 2024.

Also possible to come only for the Christmas season, which is appr. one month period during December.

We expect from you

  • Good physical shape
  • Previous experience of working as a housekeeper
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good spoken English
  • Positive attitude

  • Wages are related to your former experience according to collective agreement. Beginners with 0-2 years experience, 112,09€/hour, up to professionals with over 10 years experience, 13,36€/hour. Supplements will be paid of the work which is done on evenings, nights or Sundays.
  • Accommodation is located nearby and costs around 230-350 €/month/bed/per. person.
  • We help you to get info how to work in Finland.
  • After a busy season you will get a Certificate which is valuable addition to your CV in future!

  • EU-citizenship/passport or valid working permit to Finland.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the sector.
  • Be able to clearly define productivity standards with quality requirements and methods required to obtain them.
  • Good spoken English.
  • Good hygiene knowledge and HACCP Standards.
  • High energy, ability to work under pressure, good organizational skills and inter personal skills.
