Front Office Shift Leader
Being part of our Front Office team you will:

Prepare documentation for daily business.

Ensure prompt, efficient and courteous reception of guests.

Record and administer arrivals and departures.
-
Assist in training new staff members, coach them and monitor their performance.

Ensure the desk is covered at all times, allocating meal breaks sensibly.

Have full awareness of current daily status of Hotel.

Ensure smooth hand over to next shift.

Be thoroughly conversant with all room types, décor and outlook.

Run communication and recording of complaints; deal with complaints on first level; escalate to supervisor if needed.

Be aware of daily functions, events, VIP and group arrivals.

Carry out any other duties as required.

Keep constant communication with Reservations & Housekeeping dept. on any changes or discrepancies.

Ensure quality of data is maintained within the property management system enabling accurate guest history and sales information.

Coordinate the Reception team at all times; handling associates duties, delegation of tasks
To be successful in this role you must: -
Have minimum 3 years of experience in the Hotel Industry, Front Office Experience in a reception of 2 or more receptionists on shift required. 5 star experience preferred.

Have a bachelor in Business Tourism / Hospitality Management will be considered as an advantage.

Be an excellent communicator in both German and English (both written and verbal).

Knowledge of an extra foreign language will be considered as an advantage.

Have excellent organization and communication skills with high ability to multitask.

Possess strong computer skills and knowledge of Opera PMS.
