Embedded Linux expert

A strategic mindset Our vision is to deliver a platform that covers the full framework of a reusable embedded eco system. We build the •Reference hardware peripherals •Processing system, memory and power design On top of that we deliver a BSP and OS in close cooperation with third party vendors. The hardware is mature and the next step will be adding BSP and operating systems on top of that. Yocto Linux is one of them and that is why we need you. Your job The team is in Schneider recognized for its quality and availability of experienced experts, and you will advice and supervise our platform users on architectural as well as design decisions. Future hardware platforms and technologies will require drivers and BSP adjustment, thus a part of your daily work will be to assure the maturity of the BSP and integration of the needed drivers. Developing a new BSP for a specific OS will be done in close cooperation with a third party OS vendor. Your job will be to specify and drive the integration in close cooperation with management. You will be the Schneider Electric expert. We need you if: •You have a strong background in embedded Linux •You are experience in BSP development and porting Linux to new HW platforms •You are motivated by working across cultures and borders •You are a good communicator spoken as well as written •You speak and write English at high level. As a person you are structured, careful and find it easy to understand and adapt complex processes. At the same time you are solution oriented and you are driven to see your ideas put into practice.
