The Restaurant Amon is located in village Olimje in the eastern part of Slovenia next to Croatian border.
The Restaurant Amon is furnished in the rustic style of a wine cellar, decorated with original viticulture equipment and decorations from the viticulture heritage, which is very rich around Virštanj (wineyars region). Our desire is to offer our guests a wide range of culinary delights and wine produced by ourselves.
Food prepared in our kitchen is always seasonal. Our dishes are cooked following the old, traditional recipes. The majority of products in our a la carte menu are made in the restaurant our home grown at our organic farm. You will definitely not find pre-prepared food on our menus. We produce our own wine for which we are famous for in this region.
Some of our culinary delights which we are famous for: duck pate, duck, home made pasta / ravioli, steaks, venison, mushrooms, snails, mushroom soup, trout, etc...
