As a next step in our well-defined, customer focused strategy, Crisplant has chosen to divide one of the customer facing divisions into two – a Logistic Division and an Airport Division. The consequense of this enhanced focus is that we are now looking for a skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to head our Logistics Project Engineering department situated in Aarhus, Denmark.

 

The Job
With reference to the Division Director you will be part of the management group in Crisplant implementing and executing the BEUMER Group strategy.

The purpose of the department is participation in project execution teams delivering the sorting solution agreed with the customer. This includes e.g. making specification requirements and designs, system lay-outs, clarification of interfaces, external and internal supplier handling, as-built and customer documentation and so forth.

 

The management tasks are : 

  • Managing and sparring with the team of 18 highly skilled, motivated and experienced mechanical and electrical project engineers and project assistants
  • Securing that the employees’ level of skills match the requirements and support global training
  • Securing that procedures as well as tools support the business
  • Ensuring an adequate overview of project pipeline and portfolio (sales and execution stage) in order to support the project execution
  • Strongly supporting the subsidiaries world-wide as a well as optimising the expend of resources world-wide
  •  

Private residence near to Aarhus is a must and up-to 70 travel days per year must be expected.

 

 

You have
…a technical education at bachelor or master level followed by a minimum of 10 years experience from the industry or the consultancy business. You have experience with development and configuration of automated material handling systems and possess profound knowledge within the business. You have a proven successful track record of leading highly specialized employees in an international environment.
