How to attend
The annual “Engineers Mobility Days” recruitment event will gather employers and EURES Advisers from all over Europe during two days to provide information and advice to jobseekers and conduct interviews on-the-spot.
There are two ways to attend the event: onsite or online. You may of course also choose both ways of attending, for example onsite on the first day, and online on the second day.
Here is how to prepare yourself to get the most out of the event.
Onsite visitor?
- Register for the event as an onsite visitor and provide your CV, either by uploading a file, providing a link to your online profile, or retreiving your CV from the EURES website.
- Check the list of exhibitors (companies and countries) that will be participating in the onsite event (tick the “onsite” box on the left hand side). You can already note down their stand number to find them easily when you get there. Please also take a look at the maps regarding the exhibition areas.
- Have a look at the programme of presentations that will be delivered in the 2 auditoria and mark the ones you don’t want to miss. These presentations will also be broadcasted live on the website and you will be able to replay them after the event.
- Browse through the jobs on offer at the event and bookmark the ones you are interested in and which really fit your profile (by clicking the “I’m interested in this vacancy” button). This means that the related exhibitor (either an employer or EURES advisers from a certain country) will be able to consult your CV up to 3 months after the event – and maybe, who knows, invite you for an interview.
- Please bear in mind that you will only be able to apply / bookmark a job vacancy if you’re registered on the website as a Visitor. You can of course use the more traditional “How to apply” contact data to submit you application. Some employers might even prefer this option.
- Before applying, do your homework: research on the countries and the companies attending, and to which you are applying for, their most relevant projects and recruitment needs. Use this info when applying.
- Some companies will have recruitment interviews during the event, based on previously screened applications. For some of them, there might also be the chance to have an appointment booked during the days.
- View the instructions on how to get to the venue.
- Even if you have bookmarked some job vacancies, please bring at least 10 copies of your CV in English to hand out to the employers and the EURES Advisers you will meet – as they might not have had the time to go through your CV online.
- Arrive early so that you will get a chance to meet the exhibitors you are most interested in! You should try and reserve the whole day to be there, in order to get the best out of the event.
Online visitor?
- Check the list of exhibitors (companies and countries) that will be participating in the online event (tick the “online” box on the left hand side) and verify their online availability times. During the event, you will be able to chat with them by clicking the “chat now” button that will be displayed on the company or country page. Make sure you are logged-in the website when you start a chat session, so that your CV information will be automatically passed to the person you are chatting with.
- Browse through the programme of presentations that will be broadcasted live from the 2 auditoria and mark the ones you don’t want to miss. You will also be able to replay them after the event.

- Please note that chat sessions cannot be pre-booked, you will be placed in a waiting queue until the employer or EURES Adviser is available to start the chat. Therefore, make sure you arrive early so that you will get a chance to meet the exhibitors you are most interested in!
