New Product Launch Manager

Continental Automotive Lithuania located in Kaunas is seeking a highly self-motivated New Product Launch Manager to join our Industrial Engineering team and support project management of line industrialization that meets cycle time, product and process requirements.

As a New Product Launch Manager, you will:

• Develop the Manufacturing Concept based on product architecture and requirements matching them to state-of-the-art production processes and technologies;
• Develop operations quotes for industrialization based upon product requirement, lean principles, robust processes;
• Be responsible for completion of activities within operations to meet the specific, cost, timing, and quality requirements;
• Be responsible for documentation of operations activities;
• Ensure operations Launch Team is staffed;
• Evaluate performance of team members in accordance with line management, actively manage and optimize the use of resources on project, assign activities to the operations project team members;
• Coordinate and control project activities, track the project progress, define corrective measures;
• Ensure spendings are aligned with approved authorizations and/or budgets;
• Coordinate the development of manufacturing facilities in conjunction with plant wide & central support organizations;
• Ensure technical, timing and cost feasibility to manufacturing facilities to eventual changes in product or requirements;
• Provide and promote continuous improvements for products, processes and projects in your area of responsibility;
• Provide support in quality tasks to analyze, contain and resolve issues;
• Manage lifecycle maintenance for parts and modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field (engineering / sciences);
• Experience in the automotive or consumer electronics industry in a variety of functions (at least 3 years);
• Experience as Launch Manager or Project Manager (at least 2 years);
• Capable to interact with international teams;
• Knowledge of the Product Life Cycle;
• Problem-solving skills;
• Leadership;
• Communication skills;
• Experience in multicultural / international projects;
• Knowledge of English;
• Knowledge of foreign language (depending on international team).

• Salary: 1798,34 Eur. - 3370,25 Eur. (before withholding taxes) taking in consideration your current professional competence and work experience.
