KITCHEN PORTERS
Medasia is looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to join the team. In this role you will oversee and support the operations at dining establishments to ensure profitability and an enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities
• Opening and closing the restaurant.
• Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members.
• Scheduling shifts and assigning tables to waitstaff.
• Resolving customers' questions and grievances in a professional manner.
• Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
• Purchasing new ingredients, kitchen utensils, and equipment as stock is damaged or depleted.
• Manage and coordinate reservations.
• Managing & storing of Invoices.
• Overseeing staff performances ensuring quality in dining and overall experience in the outlet.
• Coordinate communication between front of house and back of house staff.
• Supervise staff and provide assistance as needed
• Arrange of new employees in departments, proper on boarding, staff punch clock records & overseeing all time sheets.

- Previous management experience, preferably within a restaurant. •
- Strong leadership skills with an affinity for capacity development.
- Excellent conflict resolution abilities.
- Innovative, trustworthy, and impartial.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
